nagios_mdaemon_check.exe v1.0 released
A Nagios NRPE plugin that checks the active connections to and from a MDaemon server,
the plugin checks and returns the SMTP, POP, IMAP, WorldClient and Webadmin connections.
WorldClient and Webadmin connection detection is limited because of the stateless
connections to the server.

This is an excellent tool, and many thanks for releasing it! I was wondering if there were any chance you could make the source available — I’d be very interested in developing this check to support more checks (such as number of messages in “retry” queue.

Hi Dennis,
May I know this tool should installed on remote host (Win32 platform)? And how Nagios server retrieve the data from remote host?

@Andy:
This tool should be installed on the Windows Server where MDaemon is installed. Use Nagios NRPE on this server to communicate with the plugin. Just search for “nrpe nagios windows” and you’ll find some tutorials on how to install the nrpe service on windows machines.

Hey there!
Any chance to get these plugins on an actual MDaemon-Server to work (64Bit)?
It doesn’t find the database and the “-p” Parameter doesn’t work for me 🙁

I’m currently updating (complete rewrite) the plugin, as well as an check_mk compatible one, I’ll report back here
